EFL Carabao Cup: Gabriel Jesus Scores Four Goals As Manchester City Humiliate Burton

It was a long and embarrassing night for Burton Albion who are somewhat close to elimination from the competition after suffering a heavy 9-0 defeat to Manchester City in the semi-finals first leg at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
It was such a humiliation for Burton at Etihad as City were close to making it a double-digit defeat but keeper Collins saved Zinchenko and Otamendi's headers in the injury time.
In the first half, City nailed in four goals as Kevin de Bruyne opened the scoring early into the game, and Gabriel Jesus added two goals in 30th and 34th minutes, then Zinchenko drilled in the fourth goal in 37th minutes.
City did not stop scoring as they continued the goal campaign with Jesus heading in Riyadh Mahrez's cross for his hat-trick and City's fifth, then Phil Foden drilled in the sixth goal after Jesus' shot bounced off from Collins' save to his reach.
Jesus tapped in Leroy Sane's through pass from close range for his fourth goal and City's seventh goal and Kyle Walker tapped in Riyadh Mahrez's cross for eighth goal and the Algerian rounded it up finished Bernarndo Silva's cross for the ninth goal.
This was the first since 1987 that City would win with such a margin - their last was 10-1 against Huddersfield.
City are half way through to final and would face either Tottenham Hotspur or Chelsea - Spurs beat their London neighbours 1-0 at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.
