Chelsea's Striker Alvaro Morata Joins Atletico Madrid On Loan Until 2019/2020
Chelsea's Spaniard forward Alvaro Morata has moved to La Liga's Atletico de Madrid on loan that will last until 2019/2020.
Alvaro's move to Atletico comes a week after Chelsea reached an agreement with Juventus for Gonzalo Higuain's move to Stanford Bridge on loan with an option for him to stay for £31.3 million.
The 26-year-old who joined Chelsea from Real Madrid on club-record deal of £60 million for five years in 2017, has a record of 16 goals in 47 appearances for himself at the London-based club.
"I'm very happy and proud to be here," the club's website quotes Avalro as saying on his move "I can't wait to start training, meet my new teammates and play."
The Spaniard played his last match for Chelsea early in January, leading the club to Nottingham Forest 2-0 in their FA Cup match.
