Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas Completes Move To AS Monaco
Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas has completed his move to Thierry Henry's side AS Monaco on a three and half year deal.
The Spaniard international, 31, has not been Maurizio Sarri's top favourite player as he only has made one appearance with Chelsea this season, and Henry whose club has been struggling spotted that as an opportunity to bring the midfielder over to Ligue 1 to help him revamp the team.
Nothing about transfer fee has been declared but it is understood that Monaco has not made any payment and will pay his bonuses to Chelsea based on his performance at his new club.
Fabregas is glad to reunite with his former teammate at Arsenal and now his manager as he described his move to the club as a "great honour".
Monaco' vice president Vadim Vasilyev revealed the Spaniard is welcome at the club saying, "we are very pleased to welcome Cesc Fabregas to AS Monaco, a world-class player and a great professional...we are convinced that his experience at the highest level will bring a lot to our players on and off the field."
Fabregas joined Chelsea from Barcelona where he won six trophies and won two Premier League titles and a League Cup with the West London side.
