Australian Open 2019: Stefanos Tsitsipas Upsets Roberto Bautista-Agut To Reach Semi-final

Roberto Bautista-Agut's bid for the title has reached its end after losing to Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarter-final match on Tuesday.
It was another career milestone for Tistsipas who becomes the youngest player ever to reach the semi-finals of Australian Open in 12 years - he upset record set by Novak Djokovic (2007) and Andy Riddick (2003).
The Greek, 20, had a hard-fought match with Spaniard veteran and was able to oust him after a slow start, adopting his net-closing style with more aggression to win three in four-sets by 7-5, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(2).
Being expressive of how he felt about his form and beating Roberto, Tsitispas said "You have a bigger picture of your opponent when he's going to come out. You think he's going to do some extraordinary things."
Admitting he was surprised to win, he went on to say "What i realised recently [is], your opponent feels the exact same thing you feel. It's a pretty balanced match. Thr difference is who is going to press more and be more aggressive than the other. But i did surprise myself a little bit with my performance."
However,  Tsitsipas has a tough match ahead of him in the semi-finals which would be either world no. 2 Rafael Nadal or Frances Tiafoe.
