Australian Open 2019: Rafael Nadal Past Frances Tiafoe To Reach Semi-final

Frances Tiafoe could not stop former world no. 1 Rafael Nadal from making it through to the semi-finals in his bid for his first Australian Open title in a decade.
Nadal wasted no time with the American and swept through the sets to knock him out in straight set 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 after over an hour and forty minutes of play.
The American could not match the aggressive play from the second seed, with the Spaniard's missile-like forehand shot landing deep down the lines, he commited 32 unforced errors as Nadal rode on to win converting four break points.
"I have done a lot of things well before the tournament started," says Nadal afterwards and he will face in the semi-finals Geeek player Stefanos Tsitsipas who ousted Roger Federer and Roberto Bautista-Agut.
Soeaking about the next match, Nadal added "Stefanos is one of the best players in the world...To have the chance to be in the final, I need to olay my best, and that's what I am looking for."
Nadal is set to extend his career major single titles to 18 if he made past the Greek player in his 30th semi-final in a Grand Slam event.
