Wilder Deontay And Tyson Fury Fight End In Draw As The Briton Survived Two Knockdowns
The much anticipated fight between the Amerian heavyweight champion Wilder Deontay and Tyson Fury finally ended in a controversial draw.
Wilder was close to getting a knockout as he in round nine caught the Briton in the face with his left punch which threw him on the floor but remarkably recovered and returned ro fight.
Again in the 12th round, Wilder landed his right punch on Fury's chin, throwing him motionless and flat on the floor but managed to get on his feet and fought through to the end.
In the end, the fight ended in a draw with Wilder scoring 115-111 and Fury 114-112 and that on the average is 113-113. Which mean Wilder will retain his WBC heavyweight title.
After 36 minutes of action Fury who knockdown Wilder in round 6 believed he should have been declared winner saying, "We're on away soil. I got knocked down but i still believe i won the fight."
Fury's claims was disputed by Wilder who believed he instead should have been declared winner for the two knockdowns.
