West Ham Sign Samir Nasir On £80,000-a-week Deal
Former Manchester City player Samir Nasir has been signed to £80,000-a-week deal with West Ham on Monday.
The Frenchman, 31, was signed after completing a period of training with the club and his contract is expected to last until the end of the season in 2018/19 without extension option.
Nasir just come out of 18-month ban from football by World Anti-Dopong Agency for breaking doping rules.
"You choose a club and a project because of the ambition, and i think that West has everything to one of the biggest clubs in London," says Nasir.
The midfielder played for Manchester City between 2011 and 2017, and scored 18 goals in 124 appearances before he was loan to Sevilla. He later moved from Spain to Turkish side Antalyaspor in 2017, where he was banned for 18 months.
