Steve Curry Inspired Warriors To Beat Atlanta Hawks
Steve Curry won his first game with Golden State Warriors since his comeback from strained left groin which the side won by beating Atlanta Hawks 128 - 111.
The game was considerably controlled by Warriors from the opening quarter which was dominated by Curry hitting 4-in-5 three pointer attempts, as the side led by 34-17 in the first quarter and maintained dominance to win the game.
The two-time MVP led the scoreline with 30 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists followed by Durant with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists as Hawks conceded eight consecutive games to the defending champions.
"It's nice to make a couple shot early," says Curry about the first quarter "The way we played and how we were purposeful about the shots that we were trying to get."
