Croatia And Real Madrid Midfielder Luka Modric Wins 2018 Ballon d'Or

Croatia international and Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has been crowned winner of the 2018 Ballon d'Or Award at its 63rd annual ceremony held in Paris.
The 33-year-old becomes the first player outside Cristaino Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi to win the title in 10 years.
Modric, who won Fifa best male player of the Year, led his country to reach its first ever World Cup final in Russia, and won three consecutive Champions League title title with Real Madrid.
The World Cup finalist who received the tournament's Golden Ball for an outstanding performance described winning the award as "an unbelievable feeling".
Modric was followed in second place by five-time winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi finished in fifth postion behind PSG forward Kylian Mbape.
