Manchester City unbeaten streak has ended with 0-2 defeat to Chelsea at Stanford Bridge and that gives the table lead away to Liverpool by just a point.
The defending Champions played interestingly well but their opponents seized the second half to dealt a blow to their dominance.
Just after the break, N'Golo Kante sent Chelsea in the lead slamming in Eden Hazard's pass from inside the box and David Luis later doubled the lead with a header to a corner.
The victory marked Maurizio Sarri's first match win against Manchester City since he replaced former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
Speaking after the match, Pep Guardiola maintained that his side "In general were fantastic" and he has nothing to "regret" about the defeat.
