Premier League: Liverpool Beat Bournemouth 4-0 To Reclaim Table Top As Mo Salah Scores Season's Second Hat-trick
Liverpool regained the table top with 4-0 win over Bournemouth during which Mo Salah scored his second hat-trick of the season to pushed the side past Manchester City to the top.
Cherries had their fair share in game control game but that could wade Reds of from finding their way that subsequently paid off.
Salah sent his side in the lead finishing Roberto Firmino's shot from outside the box parried to his reach in the first half. Soon after the break, he doubled the lead dribbling into the area and smacking a left footed shot to the bottom left of the post.
Cherries' Steve Cook's poor defensive play added in the third goal for Reds as he back-heeled Andrew Robertson's cross from left flank - Sadio Mane was right behind him should he miss the clearance but it eventually turned out to be an own goal.
Not long at Cook's own goal, Salah completed the scores with the fourth goal, sensationally rounding the Cherries' keeper Asmir Begovic in the box before sending the ball into the net.
In the end, Liverpool maintain unbeaten run since the start of the season and lead the table with 42 points - just a point head of Manchester City which followed in second place with 41 points - as Salah becomes the first player to score a hat-trick against Cherries since 1927.
