Premier League: Gabriel Jesus Scores Twice As Manchester City Beat Everton 3-1

Manchester City are back in table top after Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling scored the much needed goals to win 3-1 against Everton.
The defending champions top the table with two points clear their rival Liverpool which slid behind them to second place, but have chances of returning to the top if they win their match against Manchester United otherwise City will stay atop.
With a pass from Sane, Jesus drilled the ball past Everton keeper Pickford for City's opening goal, and after the break he doubled the lead with a header to Sane's cross.
The Brazilian ended his goal drought with a double after being unable to score in 11 league matches since August.
Calvert-Lewin reduced the lead for Everton, heading home a loop cross from Digne and minutes after Raheem Sterling came in as substitute for Leroy Sané, he sealed victory for City heading home Fernandinho's cross.
Recalling their first season game defeat by 2-0 to Chelsea last week, Pep Guardiola said "The players responded in a marvellous way. Evertom have top players. Todat was tricky - a dangerous, dangerous games. Everton are a top side."
City reclaimed table lead with 44 points after the unbeaten run ended with Chelsea and Liverpool now followed in second place with 42 points.
