Premier League: Aubameyang Leads Arsenal To 3-1 Home Win Against Burnley
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his twelfth goal of the season, leading Arsenal to beat Burnley 3-1 at Emirates Stadium as Gunners recovered from two-game winless runs.
The Unai Emery side's unbeaten run in all competitions ended with 3-2 defeat at Southamption last Sunday, followed by 2-0 home defeat to Tottenham in the EFL Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
During the game against Clarets, Mesut Ozil was instrumental to Gunners regaining winning streak again as Aubameyang opened the scores early in the game, slamming home Sead Kolasinac's pass inside the box.
He added to the lead after a fast break, powering a right footed shot home after Alexandre Lacazette laid a pass through to him in the box. Clarets responded to the lead as Ashley Barnes smashed the ball in from inside the box.
Gunners held on to the lead until Nigerian International Alex Iwobi extended the margin scoring the third goal from 6-yard in injury time.
Burnley remained into relegation zone after losing to Arsenal which rose close to top-four of the League tying points with Chelsea.
