New York City Council To Name Streets After Notorious BIG, Wu-Tang Clan And Woodie Guthrie

Late iconic Hip Hop artist Christopher Wallace otherwise known as The Notorious BIG has been named amongst those to be honoured with streets in New York named after them
The late Brooklyn rapper who was shot dead in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles back in 1997, was listed with Wu-Tang Clan and Woodie Guthrie as names the New York City council have reached a decision after a vote to honour with streets named after them, according to Gothamist.
Biggie will be memorialized in Brooklyn after his real name with Christopher Wallace Way. Guthrie, while Oklahoma native will be honoured with Woodie Guthrie Way in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
It was understood that Christopher Wallace Way will be the location where the rapper grew up which is on 226, St. James Place, near Bedford-stuyvesant in Brooklyn, New York.
Wu-Tang Clan - a rap group formed in 1992 that includes Method Man, RZA, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah - will be named as Wu-Tang Clan District in Staten Island.
