Miami Heat End Houston Rockets' Winning Streak
After winning five consecutive games, Houston Rockets' winning streak ended with 101-99 defeat to Miami Heat on Thursday night.
Heat snatched the wheel off their opponents late in the first half reducing their lead to 53-58, kept control in third quarter then, moved as much as 11 points (90-79) ahead early in fourth quarter.
Houston later fought back and trailed by two point but Eric Gordon missed a 3-pointer in last 6sec that could turned the game around, that gave the game away to Heat.
Josh Richardson led Houston in scores with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists as the team extended its winning streak to three straight games.
Considering both teams in scores, reigning MVP winner Harden led with 35 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. He scored nearly a third of his points in the first quarter and 9 points in second quarter.
