Meek Mill Giveaway Xbox, Bicycles And Trainers To Kids In Philadelphia
Meek Mill put a smile on the face of thousands of kids in his neighbourhood who received Christmas gifts from him on Monday.
In collaboration with Puma, GoPuff and his record label DreamChaser, the "Championship" hosted over 3,000 kid at Martin Luther Jr., Recreation Centre and shared Xbox, video games 500 bicycles and helmets, 400 sneakers and ,many toys to pupil in Philadelphia.
Meeky told CBS at the centre about his motivation saying, "I didn't forget about where i came from. I actually come around here a lot. I can't hang on the corner no more or nothing but you know I know the people around here."
"Just giving back to my neighbourhood. This is where i grew up. We are able to do it, so we are doing it...Everybody can't afford to be in a situation where they can have a good Christmas, so we wanted to bring Christmas back to our old neighbourhood."
The kids invited were accompanied to the location by the families and friends, so also was the rapper who came with his 7-year-old son Rahmeek.
