Manchester United Triggers One-Year Extension Option In Anthony Martial's Contract
Anthony Martial will continue with Manchester United until 2020 after the club effect a year extension option in his contract.
Martial moved to United from Monaco in 2015 and would have had until summer to play at Old Trafford had the club not triggered the option.
Talks about signing a new contract is reportedly on-going between the club and Martial's agent Philippe Lamboley, but both parties are yet to find a common ground for a new deal.
"They have already sent us offers that do not meet our expectation," Martial's agent revealed.
The Frenchman scored 31 goals in 99 appearances and won with the club UEFA Europa League title (2016/17), FA Cup (2015/16) and EFL Cup (2016/17).
