Lakers Lose Second Game In A Row After 107-118 Defeat To Los Angeles Clippers

Lakers continued to struggle since LeBron James was ruled out for a strained left groin injury as they were defeated by Los Angeles Clippers by 107-118 at the Staples Center on Friday night.
Before Lakers defense fell apart, they came into the second half and maintained the lead 80-73 before they were overtaken by Clippers which scored straight 22 points to lead by 95-81 in the fourth quarter.
Hence, Lakers could not redeem the deficit as they trailed behind Clippers which went on the lose to win the game with Lou Williams scoring 36 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
Beside LeBron being ruled out for injury, Lakers played without two veterans JaVale McGee and Rajon Rondo as their losing streak persisted.
"We're playing five 20-[something]-year-olds. This is a man's league. If you see young guys. You go at them physically," Luke Walton talked about the age gap between his players and their opponents "That's gonna happen again and every night we step out until we're ready to fight back."
