I'm Very flattered And Thankful" Richard Madden Says About Rumours Of Being Offered James Bond Role

It could not lesser a good news for any actor to be considered for the role of James Bond, so does James Madden who recently was rumoured to have been close to being offered the role.
To James, it was more of being "flattered" and at the same he could not but be thankful at least for the speculation because he is a fan of the franchise and have "read all the books" about it.
During an interview with British GQ, the Bodyguard series star revealed how he felt when he learnt about rumours of being considered to be cast as the new James Bond.
"Everyone just loves the rumour mill on that topic. I'm just the current one," says James about the speculation "I'm more than flattered to be mentioned, for people to consider putting me in that role. I'm very flatteredand thankful."

Search for suitable replacement to pick up the role from Daniel Craig has been on since he announced he will relinquish the role after his last instalment and 25th James Bond film scheduled for release in 2020.
