EFL Carabao Cup: Manchester City Reach Semi-finals On Penalties After 1-1 Draw With Leicester City

Manchester City have reached the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup after winning on penalties against Leicester City following a 1-1 draw at Kings Power Stadium.
City moved ahead early into the game with brilliant strike from Kevin de Bruyne after dazzling an opponent before powering a right footed shot home for an opener.  
The home side came back strong into the game after half time and levelled the scores after Wilfred Ndidi superb cross from centre of the pitch through to Marc Albrighton who slammed a shot home for an equaliser in 73rd minutes. 
In the penalty shootout, Raheem Sterling chipped his kick over the bar but the side yet made it through as Oleksandr Zinchenko scored City's fourth attempt to clinch the victory for the side over Leicester which missed three out of four attempts. 
After the match, Pep Guardiola admitted playing at Leicester has often been a difficult one for his team and today's match was another "tough game" 
"A tough game - it is always difficult at Leicester," say Pep "We played with a guy who is 17 year old and some injured players, it was a good game."
