2019 Grammy Nominations: Kendrick Lamar, Drake Top List As Nigeria's Seun Kuti Gets Nominated For Best World Music Album
Drake and Kendrick Lamar, stand the chance of grapping most awards at the 61th annual Grammy Awards ceremony as they both come atop in nominations followed by "Bodak Yellow" rapper Cardi B and Brandi Carlile with 5 nominations each.
Also with five nods is H.E.R. and Kacey Musgraves. Chidish Gambino was not left out as his hit song "This is America" was nominated for Songs of the Year and Best Rap/Sung Performance.
Amongst African artists who got a slot in the list is the late Afrobeat Legend Fela Kuti's son Seun Kuti in Best World Best Music category.
This iconic music event will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California on February 10.
