Vietnam Capital Hanoi To Host Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2020

Formula 1 has extended its outreach to the City of Hanoi, in Vietnam and will host its first Grand Prix there in the 2020, following a statement from the sport's Chairman and Chief Executive Chase Carey.
This was made possible after an agreement was reached onna multi-year deal between the Motorsport management and the race promoter Vingroup to host the sport in the Vietnamese capital City.
In a statement released by Chase, it was announced that "Hanoi will host a Formula 1 Grand Prix," and that they will be working in collaboration with the city authorities and Vingroup to ensure suitable track built for their drivers.
She ended the statement saying, "We are really forward to seeing Formula 1 cars speeding around the streets of this fantastic city from 2020."
The Chairman of Hanoi, Nguyen Duc Chung also said in a statement that holding a Grand Prix in the City will "provide an opportunity for inward investment to Vietnam and importantly to bring the exciting wheel to wheel racing of Formula 1 to the people of Vietnam."
