Golden State Warriors Rule Steve Curry Out For At Least Five Games Over Groin Injury
Warriors' guard Steve Curry has reportedly been ruled for five games or more following a statement released by the club.
Curry has undergone MRI scan for left groin injury sustained during his team's defeat to Milwaukee Bucks last week, and result revealed that it is "mild to moderate" but the team is not ready to risk playing.
In the statement on the two-time MVP winner's injury update posted to social media account on Wednesday, it was confirmed that he will be "monitored and evaluated by the team's training and medical staff, as indicated initially last week. "
Stating how long Curry will be rested, it went further to say that his injury will be "re-evaluated again in 10 days" after joining the team in their trips to three upcoming games.
Warriors have lost two in three games played since the 30-year-old had been on bench after straining his left groin against Bucks.
