Premier League: Manchester City Beat Southampton To Regain Table Lead

Southampton's humiliating 6-1 defeat to City at Etihad Stadium, lead the defending champions back to the top spot of the table as they maintain their unbeaten run in eleven League matches.
City stars took turns to thrash their opponents which unfortunately conceded the first goal from their own Wesley Hoedt who shot Leroy Sane's cross into their own post.
That lead was later widened by Sergio Aguero, he tapped home Raheem Sterling's cross from inside the area, and David Silva slammed in the third goal from inside the box.
After half an hour of play, the Saints' Danny Ing converted a penalty to reduce the lead, and City's Sterling added in the fourth goal just before the break, and scored yet another goal firing home Aguero's pass from inside the box.
Whilst it was assumed the scores would not change, in injury time, Leroy Sane attempted a left footed shot from the edge of the box and that beat the goal keeper to the post to be City's sixth goal
The maximum points earned from the game gave City the much needed leap over Liverpool to lead the table by 29 points.
