Paris Masters 2018: Novak Djokovic Meets Roger Federer In Semi-final
Novak Djokovic had to battle through the quarter-finals with Marin Cilic to make it to the semi-finals of Rolex Paris Masters by winning in three sets 4-6 6-2 6-3.
The Serb's unbeaten set run ended with the Croatian after he claimed the opener and was afterwards dominated over as the world no. 3 cruised through the two remaining sets.
Admitting the first set was tough, Djokovic explained how he was able to contain the Croatian saying, "It was a big challenge. I was a break down in the sets. And really, this match could have gomr either way."
Djokovic has a tough semi-final match ahead as he meets former champion Roger Federer who thrashed Japanese Kei Nishikori in straight sets by 6-4 6-4.
It will be the pair second meeetings of the season and their 47th career ATP FedEx series which the Serb lead in the ratio 24:22.
