Mick Schumacher To Join Sebastian Vettel In Team Germany At 2019 Race Of Champions

Mick Schumacher is about to step into his father Michael's shoes as he is set to join Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel in Team Germany at the 2019 Six Nations Cup.
The 19-year-old who is the F3 European title winner will be in his country's line up alongside the four-time F1 champion at the Race Of Champions which starts on 19 - 20th January in Mexico.
"I am overwhelmed that I've been invited to participate in the Race Of Champions as the champion of the FIA Formula 3 European Championship," says Mick.
In the F3, Mick had a fantastic season winning eight race and 14 podium position to claim the championship title with 365 points ahead of Britain's Daniel Ticktum who finished in second place with 308 points.
He added saying, "It's going to be touch because Sebastian is a big player in the Race Of Champions and of course I want to be a worthy team mate for him."
This is a big leap for Mick joining Sebastian who won with his father Michael Schumacher six consecutive Nations Cup title at the Race Of Champions.
