Fifth Instalment Of "Luther" To Be Aired Over Christmas

The fifth instalment of British crime-based drama "Luther" is reportedly set to be aired over this festive season after three years.
Lead actor, Idris Elba, will return as John Luther the detective chief inspector as  confirmed by the British TV network BBC on Wednesday.
"DCI John Luther is once more called to immerse himself in the depths of human depravity in a new four-part series written by Neil Cross," the BBC teased.
Giving an insight into the sort of challenges Luther and his screen colleague D. S Catherine Halliday are set to encounter in the course of their duty, the network revealed both will be "confounded by a complex tangle of lead and misdirection" set up to favour "an untouchable corruption".
Viewers are set to see the "Dark Tower" star actor deal with both past personal issues and confronting the network behind the crime.
Filming of the drama began earlier this year after it was announced last year that the season 5 of detective Luther is set to return.
