Drake Sues Music Publishing Company For Using His Name, Image Without Permission
Drake has dragged a music publishing company named, Hebrew Hustle" to court for using his name and image on their website without informing him about it.
The rapper in his legal docs reportedly want the publishing company to decease from the act because it is causing him distress mentally and emotionally. For that, he is demanding damages for the impact that has on him.
It all started with the company which years back, sued the "Hotline Bling" rapper for sampling a line in his song "Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2" released in 2013. Now, the table has turned and Drake has a case against them.
"The very name of Hebrew Hustle is offensive," says Drake's lawyers in his lawsuit "it perpetuates stereotypes regarding persons of Jewish heritage such as (Drake, their client)."
