David de Gea Extends Contract With Manchester United By One-Year
Manchester United's David de Gea will be staying at Old Trafford possibly for another season after the club extended his contract by initiating the one-year clause in his contract.
The Spaniard joined United from Atletico Madrid for £17m in 2011, and before his contract was extended by a year, he has until summer to stay at the club.
On Tuesday, Jose Mourinho hinted at his interest to keep the goalkeeper at the club describing him as "the best goalkeeper in the world" after their 1-0 win over Young Boys at the Champions League.
In seven seasons at Old Trafford, Gea, 28, has made 250 appearance winning and for four times voted the winner of club's player of the year award.
