Champions League: Liverpool In Tough Situation After Losing 2-1 To Paris St-Germain

Liverpool chances of reaching the round of Last 16 of the Champions League just got slimmer after losing 2-1 to Neymar's side Paris St-Germain.
Expectations was that Reds' position in Group C would improve after the match, but what happened was opposite as Bernat screwed in the opening goal after Mbape's failed pass to Marquinhos found it way to him.
Things got compounded for Liverpool as Neymar dribled through the midfield, sliced a pass to Mbape for a fast break and tapped the ball home after Di Maria's attempt was saved to his reached.
Minutes after the break, James Milner converted a penalty conceded by Di Maria for a foul on Sadio Mane in the box.
Meanwhile, the scores could have even be wider for PSG, but Marquinhos' goal was ruled out for being caught in offside positioning.
Losing the match put Liverpool in third position with 6 points behind Paris St-Germain which are second 9 points in Group C behind table leaders Napoli.
