Antonio Conte Takes Chelsea To Court

Chelsea's former manager Antonio Conte has dragged the club to court over claims of unpaid salary.
The 49-year-old reportedly has filed in two separate lawsuits at the court - employment tribunal and Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) - through his lawyers, demanding that the reminder of his wages be paid to him.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea have made several attempts to meet with Conte and settle the dispute out of court, but he didn't turn up for any of the meetings.
Conte in his suit, claims his former club is owing him outstanding payment of £11.3m, and for damages caused him, his asking for £8.7m on top of it, bringing it to a total of £20m.
However, Chelsea have reasons for their actions, amongst which is how he treated their former forward Diego Costa and his habit of not showing up at sponsorship events.
Presently, Conte is still a free agent since he was relinquished of his position with Chelsea and replaced by Maurizio Sarri.
