Aaron Gordon's Late Dunk Steals The Game From Lakers For Orlando Magic
Orlando Magic made away with back-to-back victory over Lakers despite late effort that tied the game, but still allowed it to slip off their reach as Aaron Gordon hit a late dunk that stole the game.
Lakers started of well from opening and kept on fighting as later Magic gained control, then waned defensively after the break as their opponents gained full control and led by 85-71.
Lakers stepped up their game and tied the scores by 104 - 104 with a dunk from LeBron James and Caldwell-Pope's 3-pointer. All that effort was forfeited as they were caught up in defensive flaws, letting Terrance Ross to find his way in and hit a dunk and followed by a winning two-point dunk from Gordon that ended the game by 108 - 104.
Lakers manager Luke Walton was not happy with how the game turned out to be a loss and blamed the defeat on being "selfish" and "lack of energy" from some players in his team.
LeBron who topped Lakers scores with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists said his team "defensively" was down and lacked right "energy" as expected.
However, Orlando Magic's Nikola Vucevic topped the scores with 31 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists followed by Lakers' LeBron James with 24 points and Kyle Kuzma got 21 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
