2018 Nitto ATP Finals: Novak Djokovic Beats John Isner In Opening Round

Novak Djokovic made an impressive start at the ATP World Tour Finals in London, winning his opening round with United States' player John Isner.
Gunning for his sixth title of the event at the O2 Arena in London, the world champion  wasted no time to beat the American in straight sets 6-4 6-3 in their eleventh career meetings.
The opening match is the Serb's first since he reclaimed the top ranking for the first time in two years - the position was previously held by Spaniard player Rafael Nadal who has now dropped to world no. 2 in the new ranking.
However, the top seed have been in superlative form since his recovered from elbow injury, which earlier in the year devastated his performance before his remarkable comeback to win four event titles - Wimbledon, Cincinnati Open, US Open and Shanghai Open - so far this season.
