Kei Nishikori moves closer to winning his first title in two years having reached the final of Vienna Open by beating Mikhail Kukushkin in the semi-finals.
The world no. 11 keeps a clean sheet with the Kazakh in eight ATP FedEx series, sweeping through the sets to claim the victory within an hour and half minutes of play by 6-4 6-3.
Kei is bidding for his first title of the season on his third final appearance - he was defeated by Rafael Nadal in the final of Monte Carlos Masters and to Russian player Danill Medvedev at Rakuten Japan Open Championship by 6-2 6-4.
On Sunday, he will face take on either Kevin Anderson or Fernando Verdasco in Erste Bank Open 500 final.
