Usain Bolt Is Linked To Maltese Side Valletta FC For Two-Year Contract
Usain Bolt closes in on signing his first professional football club contract with Maltese side Valletta FC which are believed to be offering him a two-year contract.
The eight-time Olympic gold medallist scored twice for Australian side Central Coast Mariners during a friendly match against Macarthur SW United, and since the weekend has been in the focal point of attention in football globally.
Valletta chief executive Ghasston Slimen said in a interview with ESPN that the retired track and field champion is "always welcome" to the club with the hope that he cam make his first appearance with the team in their Maltese Super Cup match against Balzan scheduled for December 13th.
The club which are the country's league defending champions, are aspiring to make appearance in the Champions League and they can achieve that objective by making "high-quality signings".
