Swiss Indoors Basel 2018: Roger Federer Takes On Marius Copil In The Final

In less than 24 hours, Roger Federer will defend his Swiss Indoors Basel title in the final on Sunday after a successful semi-final match against Danill Medvedev.
The top seed swept through the semi-match with the Russian who conveniently dropped the opener as the Swiss again dominated the decider and rounded up the match in straight sets 6-1 6-4. However, it was the Medvedev's first career experience with the world no. 2.
If the final goes his way, it will be his ninth hometown title and his 99th world tour-level title - trailing behind him is Rafael Nadal (80) and Novak Djokovic (72).
In the final, the defending champion will slug it out with Romanian Marius Copil who reached the final winning in three sets 6-3 6-7(6) 6-4 against Alexander Zverev.
