Stunning as it could be, Croatia's Borna Coric reached his first World tour Masters 1000 final after he secured a convincing defeat over Roger Federer in semi-final.
Defending champion lost to the world no. 19 who claimed two break points in first set, and having the upper hand, he cruised on to win the match in straight sets by 6-4, 6-4.
Speaking about beating the top seed, the first-time finalist described his performance as one of his best of his career, "It's absolutely there. If not the best [match win], then it's in the top 2, top 3. It's really something special."
