Rihanna Declines Offer To Headline NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show

Rihanna has reportedly turned down an offer presented to her by the NFL to headline Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show in Atlanta, Georgia in February 2019.
The Barbados-native whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, decision was blamed on her support for Colin Kaepernick's famous knee protest which later league to the former San Francisco 49ers quarter-back leaving the league.
An insider closed to the songstress revealed that "the NFL and CBS really wanted Rihanna to be nexr year's performers in Atlanta. They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy."
Headlining the Super Bowl show is a highly coveted offer, but the R&B songstress' dispute with NFL and CBS would not let her which is dated back to 2014 when one her songs was removed from a show playlist
