Chelsea made away with maximum points against Burnley which they thrashed 0-4 at home as they kept their unbeaten run in ten League matches.
Blues played without their goalscorer Eden Hazar, but Ross Barkley influence cuminated into three goals.
Alvaro Morata finished a through pass from the England international, poking home the ball to bottom left of the post for Chelsea's opening goal in 22nd minutes.
Barkely widened the lead scoring the second goal with a left footed shot from 25-yard and that was followed by a third goal from Willian after an hour of play.
Giroud came close to netting a goal before Alonso picked out Ruben Loftus-Cheek with a pass and he stroked in the fourth goal in injury time.
After the match, Chelsea overtake Manchester City to be in second place with 24 points behind Liverpool.
