NBA 2018: Fight Breaks Out Between Players On LeBron James' Home Debut With LA Lakers
Fight broke out in the court on LeBron James' home debut with LA Lakers which ended in defeat to Houston Rockets.
Rockets led the game from first quarter despite efforts from Lakers to make a comeback with an opener from LeBron, and soon moved up to lead by 14:19, before Rockets regained control by 24:21 which they maintained through to the end to win by 115 vs 124.
Late in the fourth quarter, there was an outburst of rage with pucnhes thrown between Rockets Chris Paul and Lakers' Rajon Rondon who was accused of spitting in his opponent's face after an argument broke out over a foul on Lakers' Ingram.
Security quickly reached to the scene to forestall peace, and both players were separated as Rajon headed back to the locker room. Both were removed for the rest of the game as a result.
However, James Harden led the scores for the winners with 36 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists followed by Chris Paul with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists while LeBron led Lakers with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
