Klay Thompson Sets New NBA Record As GS Warriors Thrash Chicago Bulls To Remain Unbeaten In Five Game
GS Warriors' Klay Thompson showed the incredible side of himself as he single-handedly led his team to 149 - 124 game win against Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old upset previous records set for most three-pointers in a single game by Chandler Parson and Steve Curry as he scored 14 threes to lead Warriors to their fifth consecutive game win. He finished the game with 52 points and five assists, followed Steve Curry with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Warriors dictated the game through to it half time by huge margin ( 92-50) before the hosts rallied back but could not make up for the deficits left off.
"I just knew I was due for a big night," says Thompson in post-match interview "I knew it was going to fall eventually."
Prior to the game, his three-pointer attempts has not been coming through unlike he had against Bulls. He added "It's what I do this for, it's those moments to share with teammates. That's why we play basketball"
