Khabib Nurmagomedov Threatens To Quit UFC
Khabib is not having how UFC is treating a member of his team involved in a post-fight brawl with Conor McGregor in the Octagon. He is calling their bluff with threat to quit the sport.
The Russian, 30, labelled the sport governing body as hypocrite for unfair treatment of his team members, and wanting to the culprit ban from the sport. He pointed out to them that the decision mighy forced him to quit the sport.
In his update on social media, he sent his message out as he wrote, "Why didn't you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?
Reponding to Dana White's position that the culprit from Khabib's team in the person of Zubaira Tukhugov, would be ban from the sport he says, "if you decide to fire him, you know that you'll lose me too."
"If you still decide to fire him, don't forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise, I'll break it myself."
On Sunday, Khabib beat McGregor convincingly and did not last longer than fourth round before he tapped for the fight to called off when he was mauled down.
