Johnny Depp Removed From "Pirate of the Caribbean"
Johnny Depp was shot to fame when he starred as the lead actor in Disney's adventure film "Pirates of the Caribbean" in 2013, his last appearnace in the franchise might happen to be 2017's "Captain Jack Sparrow" according to a statement from the film scriptwiter Stuart Beattie.
Stuart broke the news in an interview on Dailymail TV that the 55-year-old will not be starred any longer in the franchise because Disney is presently working on "rebooting" the film.
"I think he's had a great run," says Stuart when asked about the actor's appearnace im the franchise, "Obviously, he's made that character his own and it's become the thing that he's most famous for now."
Depp has been serious issues unfolding in his life, from separation from his ex-wife to domestic abuse and then to his finance, it has been turbulent for the actor.
"It's been great for us, so I'm just very, very happy about it. The fact they're rebooting something that you did means thaf you did something that is worth rebooting...I just think it's an honour to be rebooted."
