Fifa Ballon d'Or 2018: Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale And Harry Kane Among Nominees
Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Chelsea's Eden Hazard also make the nominations for the prestigious award which will be held in Paris on 3 December.
Since 2008, the award has been dominated by Lionel Messi and his Portuguese rival Cristiano Ronaldo, and both players have both won the award for 5-time within the period 2008/17.
If Juventus' forward Ronaldo did not win the award this year, it will be the first time in 10 years the award will be won by non-Ronaldo or Messi, just as it happened at the Fifa best male award in September at the RoyalAlbert Hall, London.
The Portuguese is currently the top scorer for a single club in Champions League history and led his previous club Real Madrid to three consecutive Champions League title title (2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18).
