China Open 2018: Kyle Edmund Reaches Semi-final, Set To Face Nikoloz Basilashvili As Juan del Potro Takes on Fabio Fognini

Serbian Duscan Lajovic has dropped out of the tournament after he was defeated by  Britain no. 1 Kyle Edmund who won the match in straight sets by 6-3, 7-6(4).
The 23-year-old cruised through the opener before his opponent broke back to hold him down through to a tie-break at the second sets but the Briton eventually ousted him out of the match.
Kyle has now moved closer to nailing his first trophy of the season, but will face in next match Nikoloz Basilashvili who defeated Tunisian plater Malek Jaziri.
In another Draw, top seed Juan del Potro is through to the semi-finals as he defeated Filip Krajinovic in two set by 6-3 6-0 and stands to face Fabio Fognini in the semi-finals.
"It's going to be a difficukt one," says Juan of meeting the Italian in next match "Fabio beat me in Mexick final this year. He's playing very well already."
