Champions League: David Silva Leads Manchester City To 2-1 Win Over Hoffenheim
Manchester City recovered from a shocking quickest goal of the season from Hoffenhein to beat the German side at home by 2-1 in their first match win in the Champions League this season.
Hoffenheim nailed in the opening goal in 43rd seconds, just moment after the kick off whistle, when Ishak Belfodil found a chance from Karem Demirbay's through pass and he finished it inbetween the legs of City's goalkeeper Ederson.
The German side's lead did not last for long as Sane Leroy found Sergio Aguero with cut back pass which the Argentine poked into the net to equalise for City in 7th minutes.

Neither of the teams could add a goal in until late into the game when David Silva was let loose for a strike by Hoffe's Stefan Posch's defensive error, and the Spanaird finished the chance with a left footed shot through to far corner of the post to give City the much deserved victory.
Prior to Silva's late goal, there was a should-be penalty for City when the hosts' Baumann conceded a foul on Sane, but the referee chose to have him booked instead.
