Yaya Toure Completes Move To Olympiakos FC
Ivorian international Yaya Toure has completed his move to Greek side Olympiakos FC after leaving Manchester City in summer where he played for eight seasons.
The midfielder, 35, won with his former club he joined from FC Barcelona in 2007, three premier League titles and completed 230 appearances scoring 59 goals.
At his presentation on Sunday after the club beat Giannina 5-0, he described his decision to move back to the club which he left in 2006 for Monaco as one "based on the special relationship" he has with them.
"It is an honour to be back. When I left in 2006 I said I would be back and I am delighted to keep my word. I had offers from lots of clubs across Europe, Asia and the USA," said Toure.
He added that on his return back, he has one thing on his mind and that is to "help the club win the trophies" They deserve. Further more, he would let his "football do the talking" for him.
