Wizkid Wipes Off Tweet Of Dream To Build Schools Across Africa
Fans of Nigerian pop singer Wizkid might have to slow down on their expectation from him to build schools across Africa as promised because he has wiped the update off just hours after he tweeted.
Early on Saturday, to the surprise of many, the pop singer announced an ambitious dream via a tweet that he intended to use the proceed from his clothing line partnership with Nike to build schools across Africa.
"Using my own profit from this business partnership to build a school back home in Lagos. #Educationforeverychild," he announced "I'll need help from fans to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa, That's my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Accra, Benin Republic."
He was soon bombarded with suggestions from his fans on where they deemed best for him to build a school since he asked for their opinion on this.
Apparently, that dream simply to have been tossed away since you can no longer find the tweet on his account - probably that was a prank.
Never mind, Wizkid is smiling to the bank still as his clothing line Nike x StarBoy jersey was a massive success on it debut on Monday.
