Wizkid Announces Plan To Build Schools Across Africa
Nigerian artist Ayo Balogun otherwise known as Wizkid has revealed a massive plan he has on his mind to build schools for students all across Africa starting from the community he grew up in Lagos, Nigeria.
The "One Dance" singer made this announcement via a tweet and he intended to start it from the city he grew up, using proceeds made from his Nike x StarBoy collaboration.
Writing on his Twitter account, the 28-year-old singer's says, "using my own profits fro. This business partnership with Nike to build a school back home in Lagos. #Educationforeverychild."
He proceeded in the message asking his fans' for their opinion on locations that will be best to start from, "I'll need help from fan to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa. That's my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Ghana and Benin Republic."
Recently, Wizkid signed a clothing line deal with the sportswear giant for his StarBoy jersey which will go off in the market on Monday.
