U.S Congressman Praises Lil Wayne For New Album "Tha Carter V"
Lil Wayne's new album "Tha Carter V" is the big talk in town, receiving warmth reception even from his fellow rapper such that a New Orleans representative Cedric Richmond has joined in the list.
The Congressman described the New Orleans native as one of the City's music ambassador, and amongst musicians like Louis Armstrong, Aaron Neville and Fats Domino, the "Lollipop" rapper stands out their greatest lyricist of all time.
"I can't wait to see it, it's been long overdue," says Cedric in a clip released by TMZ "He's one of our music ambassadors when it comes to rap. When it comes to jazz we have Louis Armstrong, Fat Domino, Aaron Neville and a bunch of them, but in rap music Lil Wayne is one of the best lyricist of all times."
The 14 tracklist album was released on his birthday on Sept. 27, and might be his fourth album to debut the no.1 spot of the Billboard album chart.
